House of Burgers and Blues in Broken Bow

We are visiting from out of town, and stopped here for dinner. The atmosphere is super mellow and comfortable, very clean, great music, insanely good food! The owner and his daughter came out to see how we were doing, which was a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

Great music (sometimes live) and atmosphere. Outdoor deck and bar seating available. Really cool owners and great staff. Average burgers but decently priced. Awesome fried mushrooms (and sliced so they don't burn your mouth when you bite into them). Draft beer and liquor available.

Horrible hospitality. Food was decent. Definitely not gourmet or original. They were out of most craft beers on the menu and appetizer that we originally wanted, which was frustrating. Also the entire staff is young and obviously ready to close early. We were there at 3:45, and by the time our food arrived, they were basically sweeping up under us and stacking the chairs on the tables. They close at 5:00. Then the owner showed up around 4:00, he just laughed it off and asked us, if we’d “ever seen a bunch so ready to go home?” Wow, great managing sir. You really know how to make your customers feel welcome and appreciated. Sorry we inconvenienced your staff. Won’t make the mistake again.

What a great spot. Beautiful building, great micro brews and amazing food. The owner Mike is super nice and will make sure your experience is great. This is THE place to go in Broken Bow.

My wife and I gave this place a try and was not disappointed. Both the food and the atmosphere were great. We both had cheeseburgers and they were cooked just right...came out juicy and flavorful. The owner was there and came up and checked on us and introduced himself to us (not as the owner but it didn't take us long to establish that). At times they have live music, not while we were there. As with many of restaurants in and around Houchatown / Beaver's Bend they're laid back so you should carry patience with you and just chill and enjoy the experience. Leave the city attitude and expectation at home and you will not be disappointed either.

Great burgers, and fries just like I like 'em. Great selection of local beers. But the real gem is Mike, bartender, owner, and if you're lucky, a truly wonderful guitarist. I've never had so much fun at a little local burger place like I did here. So do yourself a favor, go sit at the bar and enjoy!

Mike was a great bartender and host. Very friendly! We were lucky to be sitting in the bar when he brought out a fresh, hot sample of his homemade bacon jam. Let me tell you, this stuff is life changing! Smoky and not too sweet, it was the perfect condiment on our cheeseburger and sidewinders, which were delicious and arrived quickly! Looking forward to the next time we're in town so we can eat here again!

We stopped here noticing it was new and wanted to give it a try. Glad we did, what an experience. First we had great waiter service then got our good sized burgers and was very pleased. The funnel fries were an awesome dessert!!! Then the owner Mike came to your table to make sure everything was great. THEN we found out he wrote a hit song for Tracy Lawrence and was a country singer. Asked if we wanted to hear his song and got a free live show. Very awesome experience!

Owner Mike was an awesome bartender!!! Very friendly and very very talented Musician. Loved hearing him play his Taylor acoustic. He is the real deal. If you are ever in the area stop by and enjoy.

This place is amazing. After floating the river, we came for a quick bite and ended up staying for hours. Great love music, plenty of TV's, but the best part was chatting with the owner. Nice guy who's down to earth and really just wants to share good times with good people. He's a talented musician and runs a great ship. Good beer selection as well! Quick service and good eats!

This is the absolute best place to visit if you're in the Beaver's Bend area. The food is excellent. The beer selection is more than adequate. Above that, you might be lucky enough to meet Mike, the owner. This place is the absolute best.

We've had some bad food at beavers bend but this wasn't it. Wings I had here were infinitely better than the wings at Grateful Head. I do wish we could have heard the blues music. It was at a very low volume

We were starving when we finally got into town and this was conveniently located near the cabin. The service was fast and attentive. The owner introduced himself when we were leaving with a handshake. Very clean bathrooms, simple but pretty. And they even give you a headsup on how long your burger will take! Sidewinders are a YES!

Wonderful place to eat. Food is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The house burger had plenty of blue cheese. Fries were average. Chicken is still moist and not dried out. The truly amazing thing is that the owner is working along side the rest of the staff. Most restaurant owner might work, or only do the books, or handily complaints. Mr. Brown takes a personal interest in his customers. He took the time to bring straws for our drinks. Sat and talked and was very modest and authentic. During eating we noticed records and other reviews that mentioned his work in country music. He stopped by and sat and played a few songs at our table. Great man, great food and great music. This is now our number one restaurant in the area.

The food is amazing. Everyone in my group loved their burgers and the fries are pretty close to perfect. One suggestion: Lower the lights a little for a cozier ambiance...they're very bright! Also, we were there on a weekend night and were disappointed there was no live music. I would try it again, but maybe for lunch, not an adults' night out.

the burgers are great!! and big enough to share. The fires are perfectly crispy. The owner walked around thanking everyone for coming in. Waitress was extremely friendly.

Best burger I’ve had in years...maybe ever. Great atmosphere. And the special music from Mike was a crowning touch. Loved seeing a man with so many talents and passions all rolled into one fun place.

Good beer selection, great burgers, and the icing on the cake is the staff and owner. Mike and his staff are attentive to their customers every need. If you want a memory talk Mike into playing guitar and singing some blues. Mike is the best!

Disclaimer: I am fully confident if I had not come for a first visit during off season in this tourist town I would have given HOB&B five stars. I will definitely come back. Very friendly and professional wait staff and kitchen. Clearly a favorite of the locals. My bacon cheeseburger came on a soft bun, with fresh veggies on the side, and excellent quality meats. The price is what one should expect in a tourist town. (Tough to make a living in off season.) The place looks brand new even though it's been open 34 months. (I evesdropped on a conversation the owner was having.) Management clearly intends to achieve success.My only disappointment was a lack of live music as advertised on their signage. Again, I should have expected this, but I'd waited all week for them to open tonight. As a consolation they did actually have good blues music playing overhead.I will come back with family. We'll try the fried avocados and bacon jam. And I'll probably raise my rating.

Pit stop on way to Ten Killer State Park for lunch. Turned out to be a fabulous place for burger & more. This place sits back off highway 259 so if not careful you could miss it. But if in the area or passing through it is a must stop. While I normally do not like burgers cooked past medium these are still very juicy and full of flavor. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with American and everything on it but tomato with side of sidewinder. Their version of curly fries, thicker cut with lots of flavor but if you eat all the burger very tough to finish sidewinders but worth the try. I am hoping we stop there on way back to try something else. The restaurant is less than a year old and has a great look from huge outside patio/dining to inside.

Great burgers! Price for me was to high. Might be worth it if there was live entertainment. We ate around 1pm.

Great fried pickles! The staff was pleasant and the food was great. Outside seating has covered and uncovered options. Covered seating has electrical outlets and USB charging stations at almost all benches. Great blues music is played throughout the dinning area. The beer is very cold and they have blue moon on tap. I would definitely call this a casual fun restaurant.

Wait staff was overworked. We waited FOREVER for our food and the avocado on my burger was sour tasting. Someone in our group ordered boneless wings and she got plain chicken nuggets. Overall I would recommend somewhere else.

First impression clean trendy aimed at music appreciating, blues, crowd. We were greeted by friendly waitress given choice of seating and drink order taken. Just moments later drinks came appetizer and meal order taken. Fried green beans were well seasoned and fast . Blues burger was delicious and juicy. Very happy we stopped here and will definitely do so again.

Great atmosphere. The owner talked to all the patrons I saw that night. Food was good and beer selection was adequate. Could use a few more on tap. Set up for live entertainment with a great patio and outdoor stage. The owner even plays guitar and offered to jam with me.

This was actually my birthday dinner. I didn’t say anything to the host but had the best time and experience here. Mike Brown was our bar tender more than one of the most friendly people I’ve met took great care of us and even sang some songs for the customers! Will definitely be coming back even though I don’t live around here! Amazing experience highly reccomended!

Loved this place! It ended up being our favorite restaurant we visited. The owner, Mike Brown, is an extremely nice guy. We ordered two burgers and they were both amazing! Would recommend this place to anyone!

Loved the atmosphere, staff was great, food was quick too. Food tasted wonderful! Only complaint is that its a bit pricey for a burger, but this seems to be about the going rate in this area...

We LOVED it!!! In from out of town, they had great beers on tap, let us try whatever we wanted and made good suggestions. Food was DELICIOUS! We will return! Sit at the bar, meet Mike, the owner, he is full of stories, advice and great guy all around.

There are no words that can fully express each and every unique flavor that you experience as you take a bite out of their classic bacon cheeseburger! Love at first sight? Negative. Love at first bite? Definitely !!!

Atmosphere was okay, but couldn't hear the music on the sound system and acoustics were bad. Blues Burger was dry and flavorless, and Blue Cheese Fromage sauce had no flavor. Fries were great! Fried avocado wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. Over ripe and mushy inside. Service was decent.

We always enjoy stopping here on our trips to OK! The burgers are awesome! And the fried Avacado is a must try appetizer. The owner is usually here when we come so we sit in the bar and enjoy great company.

Sitting down we read the flyer on the table that states "food is made to order and can take at least 20 minutes"...ok cool, good job being up front about it.And yes, it took over 20 minutes! Cheeseburger was less than exciting for a place with burgers in the name!Both the sidewinder fries and regular steak fries were COLD! Waiting 20 minutes for cold fries...no thanks!That was just 1 of the MANY reasons we will NEVER be back! And we were so excited for new food options, when coming twice a year, to visit the area of Hochatown and Beavers Bend!

The burger was decent the crab bites were really good. And just like the name all they have is burgers LOL the fries were good but the service was less than friendly. Our waiter was accommodating and kind. We could have easily walked out without paying but we do not do that.

Sadly this place has closed and replaced with Buffalo Grill. Even if the billboard remains. Will post review of the Buffalo grill and i set edits to closed for all days of the week. Here to hoping this turns out well as we set out t9 eat here.

I was happily surprised by what the House of Burgers and Blues had to offer. My expectations were set pretty low when I walked in. I usually don't like themed restaurants. The staff was nice and helpful. Inside the joint was clean and sparsely decorated with blues related items. Where they shine is the food. Man, that house burger was so good. I am a pretty discerning about burgers, many people make a good burger but only a few can make a truly great one. They succeeded in doing this. The cinnamon ice cream to finish it off was nice too.
